Thread: Why does my laptop internet speed slower using router?

Hello all, my internet is seen faster on my work laptop vs. my personal laptop where as on the similar wireless network at home. What features of my laptops are most likely to be making my operation of laptop faster online? I'd thought that 90%+ of your internet speed would be fixed by your actual connection, but now the specs of a laptop can make a big difference? Thanks in advance!

I feel that there may be a deviation between your two computer's network adapters. Ordinarily other specs of computers will not make any problem to this.

Try that the guess is that one adapter is mostly convincible to the wireless interference. Try channel 1.
