Default IE8 breaks up as connected to Samsung DVR Web Viewer protection System.

Whenever I attempt to connect to my DVR via the meshwork, net explorer 8 discontinues operating and shut down the program. I cannot looks to finds a answer for this problem and am hopeful to finds on here. The running system is Windows Vista Professional working net explorer 8. The Samsung is a SHR1040 4ch DVR system. The Active X control encouraged on first log on and one time set up IE wrackes just on that page.

This is an former activeX part from DVR Samsung EZ-View. It does not operate in Windows Vista or Windows 7, primarily in 64 bit. It does in a some machine, it does not in others. It has to do with a protection trouble that Samsung just cannot fix. Any reply on this? Old OCXs that give a protection neglect? Please do not provide the actual solution, entire of us have going via this, I still used the OCX on a lately compiled Windows Application program finished by me on Visual Studio with same fault.

Here i want to add something. I don't required to operate my machine in secure style only to see my camera/dvr system. Anyhow, the secure mode and rearranging net explorer did not operate for me. I can analysis the cameras good from XP at times. I at a stand yet get net explorer wrackes on XP, but not greatly. Is there an simple fix for this up yet now that will not cause me to do away with Samsung? Regard to the person who figures this out!!

I had the same problem till I append the ip address of the dvr to my believed link list in net explorer. For example, my dvr ip address is 192.168.1.245. Since I am not utilizing https, I had to reject the see to allow just protect links. This toiled for me on equally my Windows 7 machine operating net explorer 8. It would not exertion on any until I did that (it would continue wracking net explorer) Good luck!
