Thread: Computers connected using Wi-Fi.

I am a regular reader of CHIP Magazine and find your articles very useful. I have two computers connected using Wi-Fi and am using Tata Docomo 3G Internet connection on one computer. I want to know if I can use the Internet on both the computers at the same time. If yes, please suggest me the possible steps. Thanks.

Hello Sagar. Since you are using two computers in Wi-Fi, I assume that you are either connecting them using a router or using the ad-hoc solution. In both cases, you will need to either install a proxy server or startup internet connection sharing on the main PC that is using the TATA Docomo 3G Internet connection. You will need to share the Internet connection for the other computer to access the Internet, and accordingly tweak the IP addresses of the other Pc. As this cannot be completely explained via email, you will need to help me with your present connection scenario in detail.
