Default A client blocked updating virus definition from SEP manager.

I have a small home network based on a server running Windows 2008 Server V11 administration in SEP with several customers managed. On 2 October, about the only one of the client was unable to update virus definitions to the server in SEP client that is running Windows Vista Professional Service Pack 2. It worked before. The firewall has been down on both the client and server. Im-am tried uninstalling and created a new export customer manager. I had the opportunity to drive the user to this job, and there was no problem.

Well I don't know much about this idea, but I think there are many problems associated with the version of Internet Explorer 9 beta and Oct. In particular it uses having IE9 beta installed in it and not get updated OCT. So, for this you can remove or uninstall Internet Explorer 9 beta and try using some other browser and client definitely will be updated. I hope this helps.

To repair the Sep client, as suggested, try to run the deployment wizard, SEPM, server, however, when reaching the remote authentication and enter the password of the administrator of the domain and log in from the client and restart the entire computer. There is no firewall. Another client is logged on to the domain administrator. The customer professionally run on the same port configuration.

I think so that there could be several reasons why not to update the TAC. Could you please check out going in c:, then go into documents and settings, select all users, choose the application, select the Symantec and finally SyKnApps folder? It consists of three folders such as stores or LiveUpdate and the .dll file that is two SyKnApps .dll before content updates are received. Are there?

You can first take a backup of the IE HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. After taking into account the backup restore SEP, by selecting it from the control panel and going to the Add/Remove programs. Also check for available updates. If you cannot then use on the client to facilitate LiveUpdates, its commencement and finally update it from the Internet to PTP. Because not much, but you can try, and we hope that the work I'm not sure about this.
