ClamWin Antivirus is a free antivirus solution for Windows. This freeware open source incorporated with Windows Explorer and Microsoft Outlook, schedule scans and update virus definitions mechanically. It gives better main security minus the bells and whistles of premium anti-virus packages.


However, it does raise suspicion of a Trojan horse. Although it probably was not dangerous, because we knew that its source, we decided to remove it. We set ClamWin to report sightings of manual cleaning, remove the suspect files are found, or quarantine them. When we opened Outlook, ClamWin, opened, and arrived in Outlook Add-Ins ribbon, Outlook functions normally sponsored ClamWin, too.

Good protection is cheap at half the price, and the antivirus software is without doubt one of the aspects of PC ownership should not skimp on.
