Since Google Chrome OS is so basic, it is right breeding ground for other Linux distributions. Think of Slackware. Appear at how many Linux distros were built from it! It's the similar with Chrome, since of the fact that it's open source. Developers will be able to hack it and fork it into lots of other running systems based on Chrome's Linux kernel that could do a lot more than Chrome can now. For example, they will be capable to make a fork that supports conventional hard repels. Or perhaps make a fork that you will be able to put Linux, or even Android, applications on!
