The list of default programs has been affected due to the removal of chromium. Therefore, in order that these shortcuts you have the card back the default program again after pointing to a particular program would respond when you click this shortcut. Go to default programs using the tools menu of my computer, and then in the Files tab simply do not open files by assigning to the program as needed

I think that the issue had taken place, because some applications have gone bad just because the installation of Chrome, and since this is a shortcut could have damaged the path. This can happen because of redundant and uninstall log files would be affected. So it is better to install Chrome again on your computer so that all settings are missing or appear to have come back again and everything is working properly

Yes, as you say the problem occurred after the chromium removal process. Therefore, so that everything works correctly, you must restore your system to a previous state. So just go to Programs, Accessories, System Restore and you should select the previous date, then when you start to restore, the process will take some time and that will give the system the original work, and the cause the problem will be deleted
