If you are testing to connect your router with your machine and it is not operating since of wrong password then i guess you require a update for your windows 7 os which may assist you to set up a latest wood for your wifi router on windows 7. It may go on that the wrong password would not be the main cause behind this.

I guess you are mistaken in entering the password to connect your WiFi router to the machine, sometimes it accure that you keep on entering the wep protection cipher given on the router but that is not a wpa password which you must enter to connect your router. You must go to the begin menu and start an entire Programs where you can detertmine the fresh updates for your machine system.

No issue if you can not your router your desktop machine i guess you should test out to configure the wireless connection manually on your machine. You have to go to the Network and Sharing Center which tell you that your computer can successful permit the net or not. Go to Manage Wireless Networks on left pane take for the wireless network that you are utilize on your machine and click on the Properties. Start the protection and see for the settings where i have observed that individual has TKIP was chosen rather of AES encryption or it might also accure that there is WPA was chosen rather of WPA2.

I am applying the Linksys wireless router on my windows 7 machine was having the similar trouble on it as associating but i have determine a solvent for that. Go to the Start menu and begin Control Panel where you would be having Network and Sharing Center. So in this directory you can determine handle Wireless Networks where your router's wireless protection is there in the settings.

You just have to take for the WPA2 Personal at the place of WEP. Then alter the TKIP to TKIP+AES. Now set the 64bit 10 hex, password and preserve entire the settings. Now you can test out for connecting your router to permit an net.
