I have a friend who, come what may, becomes a recluse on weekends. It's not to get away from crazy people like me, but to get up close and personal with nature, its beauty, sexiness, and for the sheer satisfaction of being amidst wilderness. For him, capturing every move, emotion, and nuance of his surrounding is his homage to the gamut of feelings in his heart. Photography for many, like my friend, is no longer just a hobby. It is also a statement they make about creativity, skill and their passion for photos. And with the advancement in imaging and technology, gone are the days of pictures being confined to dusty albums. The Web today gives all photo enthusiasts a platform to showcase their skills, discuss the nitty-gritty's of photography and mingle with fellow photographers.
