Network interface card (NIC) generally provides a computer with the ability to send and receive data across a network, or we can say that it is used to connect to the server in either a wire or wireless configuration. NICs provide interface between the equipment's data bus (lines which are followed by the data to travel) and the networK medium. Every NIC has a Media Access Control Address (MAC) which is a binary address unique to single network, This MAC address is 48 bits long and is a data \in\. layer device. This device is integrated into the system motherboard.
