    Default Explorer rarely hangs while accessing the network of computers

    Explorer hangs whenever I make an attempt for exploring another computer in the workgroup. It may also hangs even when there are no other computers connected to the workgroup and I click on my computer from the network neighborhood list. My computers also distribute the drive which appears, but when I click on one of the drives, the network hangs my explorer. My network which has a router to share a cable modem and also make a uses DHCP to assign IP addresses.

    I am too encountering with the same type of problem. Whenever explorer goes to sleep then I have to do the Start/Shutdown or even other functions for its working. At the back of the scenes its also undertaking the responsibility of a loop through the following:

    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Linka ge\Bind

    HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Param eters\Interfaces\{A800DACC-44CA-4DF9-9D9C-EBC6C8C32430}

    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Param eters\Interfaces\{DF91C410-0F6E-48FA-9ACF-A53E6C3550BC}\EnableDHCP

    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Param eters\Interfaces\{DF91C410-0F6E-48FA-9ACF-A53E6C3550BC}\DhcpServer

    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Param eters\Interfaces\{DF91C410-0F6E-48FA-9ACF-A53E6C3550BC}\DhcpServer

    HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Param eters\Interfaces\{DF91C410-0F6E-48FA-9ACF-A53E6C3550BC}

    Do anyone have any idea about this?

    I FIXED IT! In the My network Connection windows where there is a "Which Shows icons for UPnP network devices" Click on it, do it on all your XP networked computers so that it will be able to "talk" with your routers .....
