Default Bridged Connection Won't Obtain and IP

Hi I have wireless adapter on my desktop as well as dual gigabit Ethernet ports. I am trying to bridge one of my Ethernet ports with the wireless adapter so that I can connect my Xbox 360 to the internet through my desktop. But I am not able to gain the IP address. I am also not sure what I am wrong as this method works completely with the laptop I have. I am running vista between the two?

Try removing the bridge configuration and then hold the Windows key and press R, then type CMD for opening of a command prompt: In the command prompt window that opens, then type the below given commands, one at a time, followed by the Enter key: NBTSTAT and IPCONFIG /ALL

Then you can also right click in the command window and choose Select All, then hit at the Enter to copy the contents to the clipboard. Paste the results in a message here.
If you are on a machine with no network connection, then make a use of a floppy, USB disk, or a CD-RW disk to transfer a text file with the information to allow pasting it here.
