    Default Linksys, failing to connect

    Hello,

I encompass with a WRT54G Linksys router and when I am working on my computer and only MY computer, the connection is continuously goes from "Acquiring network address" to "Not Connected" and show again over and over, almost like its connecting but my computer is directly dropping it again. It does this everyday and the only way for fixing it which is not only temporarily, is to push the tiny reset button in the back of the wireless router for about 5 to 10 times... Even when I do this it will still only stay on for about 5 hours until I have to do it again... The other thing is that the wireless works perfectly fine for our Mac that is downstairs and PS3 as well. So it has to do with somewhat with my computer. What I don't identify with is that why it starts working again when I reset the router? Does it have something to do with refreshing the IP?

Have you made an attempt for upgrading the drivers for your wireless card?

No, but I was going to try it later on by making the use of driver-pro, but my brother is presently playing the PS3 so if I reset the router to get online he'll get mad.
