Thread: Network drives been disconnected

Hi,
I encountering with a problem by means of 'disconnected network drives' as I can boot each of my computer every day the first one is unable to see the last one. The last one is able to see all the others. If I start running 'net use' than it states that these drives are unavailable. If I go to 'my computer and click on the drives there is ok with all the drivers. My question is -What commands can I make use of for a batch file to locate these drives in my computer?
What command is to run when you click on a network drive in 'My computer'?

Have you attempted for making the connection determined with the net use command?

I have also tried determining it but it makes no difference in my computer. I also don’t know much about this stuff but it seems to me that when computer 'J' boots it looks at the router and says that there are 'no one to talk to ' - computer 'K' also boots next and sees 'L' - 'M' boots and can see 'K' and 'L'. Does this not occur with all networks? Whenever I click on the drives in My computer is it will enable to run some of the command to locate the drive?

I’m also not aware if there is any kind of command which can run to get the same effect by just clicking on the drive in My Computer has. And, by the way, yes this is the way it always works in the computer; Windows will also make an attempt to connect with the mapped drive, but unable if the possession of computer is not on the network.

I may also try to commands like dir Z: or CD Z:\ or Vol Z: (presumptuous that it is not connected drive is Z) to see if they have the required effect or just can give an error.

I would also propose for using a file server or a network storage device in its place of giving out folders on all the computers. It is very much easier and cleaner to manage it.

dir CD or Vol all has shown the same answer - 'the system is unable to find the drive specifies'. I wouldn’t know where to start with a file server. Can I make use one of my current computers in a different way to become a server?
