Better connectivity, but failing of connection!

Hey there! This issue I have has been bugging me, and I don't rather get what's the reason for it. For some reason my wireless internet connection keeps failing and keep me out. One instant I'll be on AIM talking to a friend, and then subsequently I'll lose my connection and have to go down the stairs and then reset my router again. However, when I check the connectivity, my signal is PERFECT. What's the deal?

Nowadays particularly my internet has kept dying, and I've had to keep resetting it. I can also do up to a few hours and occasionally only a few minutes without it crapping out on me. As of this moment I haven't lost my connection for maybe a good 7-10 minutes. Could the conditions be affecting my connection? It's been VERY windy these last two days, and that's when I noticed that I keep losing my connection.

Anyone have any ideas?

Are you making a use of a laptop or Desktop? How many computers do you make use of the internet with the same router? If it is laptop you are trying to make use of the internet which is near the wireless router. If that is the same problem you may feel like to considering replacing of the wireless router. If the wireless router gets heated up it may also hang up the internet connection.

Some things you can try here.
1. For wireless connections, modify the channel on the router, I be fond of channels 1, 6, and 11.
2. For wireless connections, try affecting either the wireless router/AP or the wireless computer. Even a pair of feet will at times make a huge dissimilarity.
3. Update the firmware to the most recent edition which is obtainable on the producer site.
4. Reset the router to factory default and reconfigure it again to the original one.
5. Update the network drivers on your computer to the most recent obtainable.

Many times these procedures will determine a lot of irregular issues. If it does not works, then post a query to the following.
Register at the DSL Reports and then run their Line Quality Tests which is the best to run this test with a direct wired connection to get rid of any wireless problem from the results. It's helpful several times to run this test quite a few times, and we'd like to see each of the results.

Do you are having your router near something that may be producing high levels of EMI (electromagnetic interference)? That may also be a reason for your connection problem. And what sort of connection are you making use of (DSL vs Cable)? If it is a DSL connection, then do you have all the proper filters been connected all through your domicile?
