Default Double DSL Router or Modem

I memorize in the Old days, when there was the ability for joining the two dial up connections for increasing the throughput in it. I’m having two 1.5mbs down 896 up (Qwest Dsl) internet connections, and is also restricted to the bandwidth because of my distance from the DSLAM. (18,000 feet) Is there any hardware available in the market today which would join these connections for increasing the throughput?

For making both the connections you will first have to look out for one near pipe. No. To load the balance between them or making use of one as the primary and the other as the backup, yes. You will require looking into a dual WAN router. Netgear which is having few models but I would also stay away from the FVS124G.

Thanks for the answer. I appreciate that I’m able to do the load balance as well as I will also look after the Dual Wan Routers. Hawking has one H2BR4.

I think that the old shotgun modem system which was once uploaded as well as one downloaded and your ISP which also require to have some of the functionality on their end to achieve that as well.

Yes that is correct. Your ISP which had to sustain the modem for teaming along with the setup in your computer.
