My network got infertile?

Hello, I have recently joined a student room which is alike to a student dormitory, all students have their own room and l own a network cable to make use of pc over here...
But I’m unable to Open my Msn web cam or my friends are also unable to see me, I can’t watch them Live on TV channels on internet explorer that I used to watched from my home first.. It’s like video streaming is blocked from a firewall or modem..

I am also of opinion to stay here for more years; I won’t able to make use of any video chat for years here? I wish that someone can show me the way how to chat with web cams in any of the messenger. Since I’ve tried with msn, yahoo, camfrog, gtalk but all doesn’t work at all. I even can’t watch online TV channels off its going to be a very boring year for me.
Help me to solve this concern plssssssss........

Most likely since the university desires you to make use of the network for school activities only.

It also appears that, they experience another way about their network. I propose you to contact their IT folks and ask them the question. We don't help in avoiding legal network restrictions.

Video streaming can also devour a lot of bandwidth. It's very achievable that the network administrator is restricting the traffic for the benefit of all users. For locating out about what are the restrictions and limitations are in place, you just require to talk to them. They're in the best situation to answer your questions and offer support.

Yes, it appears that I will have to contact them. So there is no other way for reaching the modem right? Since it also seems that it’s only the way to hack these limitations and there is no other way to make use of streaming media with other third party software’s.

We are not going to help you at all for hacking someone's modem, router, or the other network infrastructure. It's just a simple question. I really don't understand your unwillingness to talk to them.
