Default My Network Cable is Unplugged

Hi, I had a problem for a while whenever I game, or download, or even browse the net, after a while I receive a "Network Cable is Unplugged" message and my internet router as well as the modem disconnects and it reconnects within the length of a few seconds. Due to this problem I have purchased a new wireless router and also updating its firmware to see if that was the problem encountering, and it was not related to it. I also tried switching the Ethernet cables, but it failed. Finally, I called my ISP and asked them for a new modem, but the problem still continues. It is in fact irritating, someone have any ideas? Thanks!

Someone also had advised me that I should try to plug the modem straight into my computer. I did, and it is working fine, so they told me that it was the Network adapter on the computer who is causing the problem. But, this problem still takes place when the other computer is off, could the adapter be the problem for this? Thanks!

Hi! One possible reason for this may be. If you are making use of DHCP to get LAN addresses for your computers, ensure the DHCP lease time setting on the router. A short let out time may also be the problem.

Sorry, but I'm uncertain - you have declared that one computer is having problem, and then you have mention a second computer too? If the difficulty does not take place when plugged straightforwardly into the modem, then it absolutely sounds like a router concern.

The DHCP lease time for setting is also set to 1 week, which is the maximum option for this router. Also, I'm also confirm that its not the router, since I went out to purchase a new router to see if that was the problem but yet the same thing still take places.
