In this whole world there are two different types of IP addresses which are as below Static IP address and Dynamic IP address.
The static IP address which does not change every time till you change or modify it manually. It is used mostly when you need IP address or network location to keep it same always. For e.g. if you go to the Google you are actually going to IP address 66.102.7.99 if these were to change quickly you would not be able to access the Google till you get a new IP address or Google renew their DNS record.
The Dynamic IP address is different as compared to Static IP address it is mostly used when it having a fix IP address and which is not necessary and it would be called as ISP (Internet Service Provider) hand over to you when you have to register with the Internet and for that you must have the suitable IP address provided to you to surf the Internet but when you are disconnected the address is being lost and for the next time again you have to register for a new IP address and these done through DHCP.
