It is very easy to find the IP address in any case just click on the Start button and select the RUN command from the start menu and type as cmd in the address bar and click on the OK and after that you will see a black DOS screen and just type as ipconfig you’re your IP address will get displayed with the default gateway
IP address will be displayed first in the list and after that you will see subnet mask will be displayed and at last the Default Gateway will be displayed at the bottom which serve as the main access point to other network
The option also provide you other information like host computer name, DNS, and WINS and even the physical address of your network card
You can get the IP address by other way through network connection properties you only have to Right click on the My network places and select the properties and finally right click on the Local Area connection icon and again select the properties and a dialogue box will be opened and you have to select the Internet protocol and click on the properties and the IP address will be displayed and if your IP address is directly displayed it is because you are using any DHCP and nothing other will be listed in the boxes and you wont be able to find the IP address but the other way is just click on the local area connection icon in your taskbar.
