Many websites are very long and the browser can show only a part of it. For a presentation however, you need the entire content of the site as a graphic In a document.
For this you will need aid material such as the free IE Snapshot by. There click on 'Downloads', download the program 'IESnapshot.exe' and install it. An assistant will run you through the setup.
The English IESnapshot works as an independent mini-browser. First, customize the program as per your requirements. For that, open the settings dialog through 'Configuration I Settings'. Select the tab 'Selection settings', activate 'Manually set the selection' and you can drag a square in the mini-browser and decide the exact area that you want to save as the graphic, convenient for sharing with others. In the next tab, 'Outputfile settings', decide the directory in which IESnapshot should save the data. Under 'File format' select 'JPG' or 'BMP' as the graphics format.
Alternatively, the tool can also export websites in the 'PDF' format. Besides, a more practical approach is the 'Automatic' function in the 'Filename selection' field. In the 'Advanced' tab, you can decide on the picture quality using the slide controller. You can also decide on the page format for the PDF export here.
In the 'Address' field, enter the URL of the desired website and click 'Go'. IESnapshot shows the website in normal size on the left and the small overall display. With the mouse, drag a selection square over the area that the tool is supposed to export and then click 'Grab now'. Click on 'Save', and you will finally have created the new graphics file as per your requirements with an auto generated name.
