Default Can I secure 2 ports on an 8 port shared router?

I tried Googling this question, but I must not be asking the right one. I support a nonprofit who shares a Linksys router with 4 other organizations. When I was at another org, I noticed that I could view everyone's shared data in Explorer. Can I secure their two ports on this shared router, or should I recommend their own ISP with their own router?

    Thanks!

Go into the web configuration page in the router and separate each Ethernet port to use a different gateway. The function is not commonly found on consumer routers, except customized firmware like DD-WRT for supported Linksys router.

Basically you're separating individual ports into a VLAN.
    e.g.
    192.168.0.0
    192.168.1.0
    192.168.2.0
    ... etc

Do you know what's the model of the router? (Please include version number as well).

OK, I thought it was linksys but it's not, it's DLINK and the SN is BD1y263000084 and the hw v. is A2 and the fm v. is 1.43.

Thanks, I get what you say about individual ports into a VLAN, and I could do that if this model will allow.
