When you are opening Windows Explorer, by selecting the Window key and “E” concurrently or by choosing Start, All Programs, Accessories, Windows Explorer, or by just right clicking on the Start menu, you can alter the directory which emerges by default.
How To
First go to the Start, All Programs, Accessories, and then right-click on the Windows Explorer, followed by Properties.
Adjust your “Target” directory. Now go to your C: drive, just type C:\ in the Target box and choose the OK.
Beside this you can also enter a shortcut key on this screen, by telling Windows the character or grouping of characters you want to type to automatically open the Windows Explorer. You can even modify the icon or state that you always want Explorer to open up in full-screen mode.
