Firefox displays Flash objects with the help of the 'Adobe Acrobat' plug-in. The main reason you face problems with the pages that contain Flash objects is a clear indication that this plug-in is not working properly. To diagnose this problem,
1.Launch Firefox.
2.Click 'Tools I Add-ons'.
3.Click the 'Plug ins' tab.
4.Select 'Adobe Acrobat' and click the 'Disable' button that appears besides the name of the plug-in.
You will need to uninstall this plug-in. Here's how to go about it,
1.Click 'Start I Control Panel'.
2.Click 'Add or Remove Programs'.
3.Select 'Adobe Flash Player' and click the 'Remove' button that corresponds to the entry.
This will commence the uninstallation process of the plug-in. However, this may not be the only cause of problem. Sometimes, add-ons and extensions based on Flash controls can also affect Firefox every time you open a page with such controls. There are several such add-ons. 'Flash block' is one such example. To uninstall applications:
1.Launch Firefox.
2.Click 'Tools I Add-ons'.
3.Click the 'Extensions' tab.
4.Select the Extension that you feel can be causing the problem and remove it by clicking 'Uninstall'
