Network Diagnostics collects information about PC to help you solve network and e-mail associated problems. Network Diagnostics enables you to run a range of tests to collect various kinds of information about your network and PC. You can scan for such things as network connectivity, email configuration, web browser settings and other items.

To obtain to Network Diagnostics Tool tick on Start and then Help and Support. From there tick on link Use Tools to view your computer information and diagnose problems. Then click on Network Diagnostics.

You can select which items you want scanned by clicking on Set scanning options link.

To start scan, tick on Scan your system. The result after scan is divided into 3 categories, Internet service, computer information and modems and network adapters. If an item has a plus next to it that means you can tick on it to obtain more information about it.

If you would like to save output of scan you can tick on save to file button to save to an HTML file. This is useful if you want to send results to somebody else to review to help identify a network problem.
