You have seen that when you right tick on your network connection in My Network Places you have a choice for Bridge Network. What a network bridge does is permit two or more networks to be tied jointly so that they act like a single network.
E.g. if you have three PCs on a LAN attached via Ethernet and then have a wireless laptop with only a wireless connection you could utilize a bridge to attach all four together. You have to ensure that one of wired PCs has an Ethernet port AND a wireless port. Ethernet port is utilized to attach to other two wired PCs and wireless port will be utilized to attach to wireless laptop.
After Ethernet and wireless connections are linked, every PCs can see each other on network because of PC with both kinds of connections that is bridging connection. The only catch is that PC doing bridging should be on for bridge to stay active.
To “make” link, you would go to PC with both kinds of connections and go to My Network Places. Then right tick on it and choose Bridge Connections. When it’s complete you will have a new icon for new bridge in your connections. You will utilize this new icon or connection to handle your network properties. Remember you may have to restart when it’s finished.
