    Default How to Enable or Disable Passive FTP in Internet Explorer

    Passive FTP mode is utilized by some FTP servers to improved work with firewalls. Internet Explorer has a setting for Passive ("PASV") FTP mode. You may want to either enable or disable this setting to permit Internet Explorer to work with a particular FTP server. Here is shown how you set it up.

    1. Go to Internet Explorer.

    2. Click on Tools menu.

    3. Then go to Internet Options.

    4. In Internet Options window, click advanced tab.

    5. Locate setting known as Use Passive FTP

    6. To allow Passive FTP, check the box next to Use Passive FTP setting. To stop feature, uncheck the box

    7. Click Ok.

    After These Points Which You have shared With Apply Following Points:
    8) Next, find the setting called Use Passive FTP (located approximately halfway down in the list of settings).

    9) To enable the Passive FTP feature, set the checkmark in the box next to the Use Passive FTP setting. To disable the feature, clear the checkmark. Alternately set and clear the checkmark by clicking once inside the checkbox.

    10) Click OK or Apply to save the Passive FTP setting.
