Default VIEW ONLY PARTICULAR IMAGES in Firefox

MANY people turn to Opera from other browsers for the simple fact that it has an exceptionally useful feature. That is, the blocking of particular images. However, if you are under pressure of moving from Firefox to Opera for this reason, then there's a simple solution to your problem. Simply install the add-on called 'ImgLikeOpera' and control the visibility of the images on your browser or on your tabs.

With this add-on you will be able to select when to display images and when not. If you want to block images from a particular sire on a whole then you can simply specify the address of the site. This can help you safely visit sites that have controversial or obscene images that you would rather not load. It can also make pages load faster if you simply block the images from loading. Follow these steps to install and configure ImgLikeOpera.

    • Visit the site
      Code:
      'https://addons.mozilla. org/en- US/fi refox/a ddon/1672 '.
    • Click 'Add to Firefox'.
On the dialog box that appears, click the 'Install Now' button.

    • After the installation process is complete restart Firefox for the change to take effect.
      Click 'Tools I Add-ons'.

    • Look for the 'ImgLikeOpera' option in the list. Click the 'Options' button on this entry.
Under the 'Cache, mise' tab in the settings window select the 'Default policy' for displaying images in new windows and tabs. The dropdown list has a number of entries that allow you to load a page without any image, load only cached images, and load images only from the originating site or load all images.

    • You can set the cache to clear after a specific number of hours. Check the 'Forced expiration time' checkbox and select the time limit from the dropdown box that will be enabled.

    • Next, click the 'Filters' tab.

    • In the 'Filter' textbox, enter the address of the site that you would like to filter. Under the 'Filter policy' dropdown list, select one of the four policies and click the 'Add' button.

    • Similarly, you can add more sites to the filter list. You will see the name of the site(s) in the grid below with a column that displays the policy that's applied to them. Click 'Apply' for the changes to take effect.
