Can someone please tell me what I need to connect my XPS Windows 7 computer with a Windows Vista computer using a DLink DGS-2205 Switch? Do I need more Ethernet cable or what, how to do it? I was told I don't need anything else but this switch but it doesn't appear to be the case.
I would like to acess the old files on my old desktop. I need to be able to connect the 2. I don't understand the technical part of this. I have a Westell modem from ATT. I have a DLin DGS-2205 Switch too. I don't where to start,any help would be greatly appreciated. My connection is a DSL connection from ATT. Now I'm so upset I am repeating myself. Geezz!!
