Thread: Problem of creating computer Network Workgroup.

I modify configuration of every PC in my network, and upgrade OS now I use windows 7. But problem is when making network I am unable to get every PC in network and option where we include new PC with new IP. So how can I resolve this problem?
Any suggetsion????????

Follow the steps given below

• Go to Start ->Control Panel ->System. Open Properties dialog box.
• Click on Continue button if security warning appears with user control.
• Next press Change Button, modify computer Name or Domain
• In Member Of area, choose Workgroup and enter name of workgroup. Or enter name of current workgroup or create another name for workgroup. This name must be short, with no spaces.
• Press OK three times to shut windows. Close Computer Name Changes box, welcome message, and the restart message.
• Next close Control Panel.
• Reboot Windows.
• Now open Network place to look every PC in Network.

I think this is network card problem; because problem is not every PC shown in network group. So first check network card, there must be problem because some PCs are seen in network, this happens when we change hardware configuration, some hardware are unable to support network card and because this you are unable to make PC network group.

Some days ago I also encounter same problem, when you make PC Network, and any node not give any reply to server that time start testing from system, when any network node not give reply then format this system and test all hardware configuration of this system. This will help you to make PC Network Workgroup.

Use the network wizard for Windows XP you can find it by going to control panel, internet options, Network Setup Wizard and follow the instructions. (Oh ya make sure both pc's have wireless cards and are connected to the internet)
