Default Method to develop Windows Network resources

In Vista network I want methods to set up and use various kinds ofresources in Windows Network. Also how to handle network and file allocation. I had tried and faced some clashes between other files. What are mapping tools and how to organize them? If mapping service is not functioning then how to restore it. Also what are various methods of using Windows Network?

    any suggestion??????

After turning on, if you get dead time of some minutes earlier than Window becomes ready, it is probable that PC has problem getting an IP address from router. You will solve problem by allocating permanent IP address. For this, open module Network and Sharing Center in Control Panel. Click Manage network connections.

Window that opens shows Network Connections icon. Right click to attach PC to LAN or modem and pick Properties command. In Properties window, choose Internet Protocol Version 4 and tick Properties. It opens Internet Protocol. Tick choice Using website. Fill IP Address box.

Domain: Much easier. Create a domain and join the workstations to the domain. Centralized administration i.e. you can set all your users up and add resources/groups on a member server or if you only have one server, on the one server. Then the only thing you have to worry about is the networking.
