Thread: program for LAN Voice Chat

Hi I am new in forum .I want to write voice chat program to use LAN for landline replacement, but do not know where to start. Can anybody tell me what steps I should follow write a program in LAN Voice Chat? Thanks in advanced.

VOICE CHAT application is a rather complex network application because they must solve the most essential collection / distribution and synchronize the sending / receiving sound of many people in group chats. To write this application, you need to equip a lot of knowledge about many areas:

- Network programming, often using the model client / server on the Internet.
- Thu / play audio from / to the microphone / headphone (usually through soundcard)
- Audio format suitable for sending / receiving each discrete sound,

In general, if you are not specialized in information technology, the written application and voice chat is hardly overwhelming success. Ideally, you should find and choose the applications available on the market and use it to serve your request.
