Default Problem with network throughput - Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H

I have the above board with 780G chipset. Done as a home, FTP and part-time web server is serving. After the long-overdue transition to gigabit LAN here at home I have now the problem that the flow rate at max. 250 300MBit / s (measured with iperf in default settings). The counterpart can be a third computer with no problems so 900MBit / s.

That's may actually not be, right? Clearly this is an increase of 100MB, but ... latest network driver from Realtek are on it, current chipset from AMD as well, other cables have I even tried it. CPU load is not limiting, the X2 BE-2300 dormant rather mostly to himself.

Has anyone creative ideas or suggestions help? OS is WinXP SP3

Is where the faster computer (data throughput) possibly activates the "Jumbo Frames", and another in which not? The switch can handle the jumbo frames at all? Are the same for both the computer parameters in the device manager? Brake possibly an anti-virus program or firewall?

    No jumbo frames

    - No firewall (s)

    - Settings in Device Manager where the same

    - Switch and Jumbo Frames: No idea, but not relevant, because not used.
(Also with the currently used DLink switch just like the case with a 3com test half)

Is me really a mystery ...?

Depends on that even more of PCI should be in there - it depends on the PCI-E. he emphasis is on, but should at PCI-E me wonder now auch. Sind possible interference in the area? The only thing I did not test half have not replaced is the power supply. Otherwise the case is quite empty - contains two WD RE2-GP drives and a fan. Power supply is really nothing Glorious
