Thread: Whether thin customers useful?

Hello Friends,

It is listened from few users that thin customers are practicable only for net access but speed is real dumb.Are thin customers matched for c/c++, java, html. Is there any technical trouble for operating 20 thin customers on one thick server. What should be config. of server. there are thin customers of unlike make present in market? which is better?

I’m not so much a “thin customers” user as a remote desktop user. I detect that remote X or VNC sessions above the net (the better you can purchase where I live) is unacceptably dumb. I lately apply NX and it is ok, but experiences steady stalls that I have to kill it to get out of.For thin customers or remote desktop to be feasible the xorg must make dramatic advances in the remote protocols.
