Default Ineffective to do full system scan due to hidden objects.

    Hey Friends,

I'm running Windows XP on my HP laptop and use Avira antivirus on my laptop. I have the 320 GB hard drive on my laptop and 265GB is almost full. Every time I scan my laptop at the time that it takes more than 4 to 5 hours to complete the analysis and I'm fine with it. However, since last 6 to 7 days I'm facing some problems. My antivirus is not able to do full system scan because the hidden files on my laptop. Please tell me what to do to solve this problem.

I think you can solve this problem by doing this trick. Once you open the Avira antivirus and click the tab for analysis. Now the custom scan option, then that is the option of selecting the unit. Now you do not select all units, but select any one unit and after the initial examination. According to explore all of the unit one by one because your hard drive is almost full which is why I'm suggesting this trick.

If you want to do full system scan and if they are able to do that, then I think there is something wrong with your antivirus files hidden only because it never effects the system scan. I think it must first uninstall the antivirus on your computer and after restart the laptop and install the antivirus back on your laptop. After reinstalling the antivirus on your laptop try to scan the entire system again. I now do not face any problems with your antivirus and scan.

I have tested to defeat the trouble by withdraw entire temp document on my laptop, and tested to defeatg the trouble by removeing the antivirus Avira from my laptop and set up on my laptop again. After performing that I also am not able to do total system scan. When I test to scan my laptop by choosing personal units at the time I am not tackling any trouble with my antivirus. Please tell me is there another way to defeat this trouble?

I read your message, as you said you still have the same problem after trying the above solution. That's why I suggest to solve the problem by doing these steps. First, insert the OS CD in your system after you restart your laptop. After running the operating system CD and then have the option to repair the system and install the new copy. After you select the repair option.

    Thanks Friends,
