Thread: Ineffective to utilize internet after installing AVG IS 2011 Trial.

I am using Sony VAIO laptop and I like the laptop a lot. I installed Windows Vista on my laptop. I recently installed AVG antivirus 2011 trial version on my notebook and antivirus is working perfectly. But after installing the antivirus I can use the internet on my laptop. Now please tell me what should I do to solve this problem? If someone facing the same problem and have solutions then please reply with your suggestion.

I have spoken to your problem and I faced this problem because your antivirus is blocking the connection. In my opinion you have to start the AVG antivirus, then open the firewall. Now click on the firewall settings and after that you can see the list of elements that is blocked by a firewall. If you can see the Internet connection option in the list then click it and select enable.

I read your problem and if they are unable to connect to the Internet with your laptop, then I think we can address this problem by following these steps. First disable the AVG antivirus on your computer and then try to connect the internet. If you are able to connect to the Internet after disabling the AVG antivirus, then I think you should reinstall the antivirus. I realize your answer and after uninstalling my AVG antivirus 2011 test on my laptop and I restarted the laptop. After performing that I downloaded the former edition of AVG antivirus Net and set up it on my laptop. After testing to connect to the net on my laptop then all was operating smoothly and does not tackle troubles with my net connection.
