Default Media server ... I fail. Help

I have 2 TV Phillips connected to the router and pc, My idea is to see the movies I have in the computer to the TV, A TV is connected by wireless and the other cable directly, but the question (which is driving me crazy) is when I try on the TVs access the computer. Specifically on the tv there is a option that says Browse PC Network Well, ask me to turn on the computer (obviously) and you start the application server means Phew, I've given a lot of laps and I get nothing.

I've never done that you comment with Windows 7, or with another system, and less using a media server (I was playing around with the MediaTomb on Linux, but did not took nothing of it, I got tired before) or DLNA ... and now I think I will not try ... but that's that Windows Media Player 12 can not ... let me doubt it. Perhaps not directly WMP12 does, but with a little help from Windows 7 maybe if: I have it off, but I remember that when activated WMP12 appears as one more device network, then you just should do some research online.

THANK YOU for answering What I had found comets and also on Google, but do not go over it again being that I skipped something Since everything I did that at the time and did not work. With Windows Media Player 11 apparently had no problem It got as comets .... but with Windows 7 (which brings the windows media player 12) ... at least I think Philips TV will be fighting .

I think the problem is not WMP 12 in this case, but if you also have problems with the Wild Media Server as I said, I have not tried, but in principle the router should not touch because communications are local network, no need, in principle, map ports ... and at most enable UPnP on the router, because I think many media servers use this protocol.

I got to see the movies I have in the computer philips television after much searching servers. In the end I got it free with TVersity 1.9.7. Add the folders where you have the movies and go, if you give status will leave you have found a VAIO MR ... (I xq is the TV I have no vaio). You stop looking TV and takes a while but found. I gave in to the server settings to restart sharing and rogue before but by accident. The fact is that I work. Test and if you do not, ask me for this thread to the other people who can see no matter what (I subscribe).
