Twitter uses separate services that let you upload photos to the internet. People also post links, but the link address can be a little too long for Twitter. There is a number of services which can shorten URLs. You can choose which service you want to use by default. Click on Settings> Services, then select the services you want to use at the bottom of the screen. Click Save.
