I want to know about Multi-monitor KVM. What it stands for and its use and what is required to apply it. Also want information about dual head cards and multi monitor support in windows. If anyone knows about it then provide me information about it.

Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) toggles is utilized to control many PCs by one keyboard, mouse and monitor. A multi-monitor KVM allow utilizing many monitors. To use many PCs at one time, KVM allows you to give to keyboard, mouse and monitors among various systems, thus saving space and money.

There are conditions using two PCs, each with continue and keep for two monitors. Because of limitation in Windows 2000, dualhead cards that utilize chipset to drive both monitors require special work around in driver to be properly predictable by system. If these work around are not place into operation, Windows 2000 sees single big monitor rather than two.

Taskbar is widespread across both monitors as option of one multi monitor software won’t work properly. All main video card or chipset companies have Windows 2000 drivers with complete multi-monitor Sustain and maintain. It has included keeping up for their Hurricane cards, probably for other RADEON VE-based cards. ATI has included keeping up for RADEON 9xxx cards, but not earlier cards.
