Thread: Windows Installer error

When I want to open any office program and click on its icon at that time Windows installer starts and then office Config box appears and attempts to reinstall application or program. So please tell me how to solve this problem. Any help will be appreciated.

To solve this problem follow the steps given below:

1.Go to Start switch, undo Run selection and type msiexec /unregister. Hit enter.

2. Then again go to Start, open Run option and type msiexec /regserver. Hit enter. Then if problem persists then clear installer database by "Windows Installer CleanUp Utility"
