Thread: Build a Startup Disk in Windows 98

Anybody knows how to Create a Startup Disk for Win 98 ? if knows then please reply me as soon as possible. Thanks in advanced.

Follow the given step which is solve your problem.

1. Insert Windows 98 CD, and have a floppy disk available.

2. Click Start, point to Programs, and after that click Windows Explorer.

3. Open the following folder on the Windows 98 CD-ROM:
Tools\Mtsutil\Fat32ebd

4. Double-click the following file, and after that follow the instructions to make the Startup disk:
Fat32ebd.exe

5. Write protect the floppy disk.

1. Click Start; point to Settings, and after that click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.

3. On the Startup Disk tab, click Create Disk.

4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

• Create a Startup Disk

• Close all programs.

• Insert a blank floppy disk in the drive.

• Insert the W98 installation CD in the CD player.

• Go to Start / Settings / Control Panel.

• Click Add / Remove Programs.

• Click on Startup Disk and then click Create Disk.

• Follow the instruction.
