Error on startup: 'We apologize for the inconvenience ... '
If a computer has been restarted abruptly because of a crash, you may see a message like the one pictured to the left. Using the cursor keys, select 'Start Windows Normally' to see if you can get your PC to resume normal service.

If not, try the 'Last known good configuration' option. If that fails, choose 'Safe Mode' to load a simplified version of Windows - use this to uninstall any programs you have added recently, then attempt to restart normally.
