Thread: Skype microphone issue in ubuntu

I am having the desktop computer system which has the Ubuntuoperating system. , but the problem is that my microphone is not detected; I think there is acquisition is possible, as it does on Audacity Works on it either. I also did a sudo alsamixer and my microphone is off. I can’t figure out why I am facing such problems and hence need your help in solving the problem. Thanks in advanced

Try to kill the esd process so that fix your problem. To killer esd, here is the control which you have to use
