Open the "Start Menu" and then enter "regedit" in either the "Search" or "Run" field. Click "Enter" to open the Windows Registry Editor. Hit "Edit" and then press "Find." execute a search for "WgaLogon" to place the key for starting "WgaLogon.dll." Delete the key to avoid Windows Genuine Advantage notification from starting up.

Momentarily Deleting Windows Genuine Advantage

Open the "Start Menu" and then execute a search for "wga." Expand the search to contain system and hidden folders to find all locations to Windows Genuine Advantage. Delete every "WgaTray.exe" and "WgaLogon.dll" files. Deleting the "wga" files will eliminate the Windows Genuine Advantage notification until the next set of significant updates is installed.
