EVER FEEL THE need for a photo manager when you look at all the pictures you clicked with your digicam? Here is one that can go all the way from acquiring photos, organizing them, and refining them, to sharŽing them. Zoner Photo StuŽdio 10 Xpress (ZPS) promŽises to replace multiple independent, non-interconŽnected programs. What is more, it is completely free for PC World readers!
It can then resize photos the way you want it, correct red eyes, reduce blurring, add a frame or border, and so on. Converting between file-formats, batch operations, and multiple undo levels are possible.
You can create albums and manage them. You can add EXIF notes, keywords, ratings, and audio notes to photos to describe them. These can later be searched, filtered, archived, set as desktop background, etc.
You can directly preview videos within the file browser. A unique feature is the ability to add GPS location information within photos. When you view the same photo later, ZPS can use the stored longitude, latitude and altitude, and pass it on to an online map such as Google Maps, to show where the photos were taken. You can print single photos, or print multiple photos using templates to decide how they will be positioned.
After installing ZPS, a dialog box asks for your serial number. PC World readers can register their free full version at: Zoner.com su pport/reg i stration-magazi ne. asp?magazine=63. The code to unlock it will be sent to the email address you provide. Enter it into the dialog box, and click "Apply Your Code".
