Thread: MS Office doesn't respond following snooze type

I'm not capable to use any MS Office program after coming back from sleep mode. Excel, Word, etc. get freeze up and they are not responding. Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

According to me this issue relates to Vista's UAC and the new default user access rights for users in Vista. Basically I think outlook is doing something that needs rights to reboot after a sleep mode.

If this only happens with Office 2007 and not any other application then you possibly have an add-in that isn't behaving correctly when you restart from standby or hibernation. Using the trust center in Office 2007 you can stop any 3rd party add-ins.

You should have the related version of Windows Messenger as the person you are sharing with. It is not possible to share wallet when other person is offline. If the position of your contact is offline, in that case ask the person to change it.

Remove all files connected to sharing folders. Make a support of these files before execute this command.
