Thread: Windows 7 Media Center Crashes on startup

Hi all,

I have recently switched to Windows 7. All the things are performing well except Skyplayer. I have upgraded the Skyplayer in it and as soon as I start the Skyplayer then it crashes the media player at its startup and after that it performance fine. If I see freeview with media player and TV then it just performs fine. Please help. Thank you.

To solve the problems like this you can go for Windows Vista or Windows 7 with a less set of drivers starting programs. This is called as a "clean boot." If you do a clean boot then it will help you to remove software divergence. You can visit this link and this gives detail about all the things about this. When you work a clean boot then you might contemporarily drop some functionality. When you boot the computer as normal then all the functionality will returns. You might get original error message otherwise.
