Default Ineffective to find realplay.exe file in my c drive.

My PC has suddenly become very slow, then check the Task Manager. In fact, I found realplay.exe much CPU power is not yet applicable for Real Player. open. Then he reached for this file. EXE file on my C: drive and Windows could not find it. Are you kidding? It has always scared to see a substantive program, taking a third of my CPU for no apparent reason. I think if it was a legitimate program that is background to see if an update would require 2% of the CPU, 35%.

Real Player is not an integral part of Windows. It is advisable to check the list of installed programs and remove Real Player, if it is in the list. As far as XP is concerned RealPlayer.exe right the file is probably located at C: \ Program Files \ real folder or a subfolder of Real Player. If there is no such folder on your computer, then you probably have dealt with the issue of malware pretending to be eligible for Real Player.

Microsoft seems determined to make what was once a relatively simple task to find a file, a bit more complicated. For a good research, which means that not all the disk requires a careful analysis of options and search parameters. Of course, if RealPlayer.exe listed as a process in Task Manager, it must exist somewhere on your computer. If it is found by a search, then you are not looking for "correct".

Install MalwareBytes and run a scan through it would be a good start. If MalwareBytes does not download or not installed correctly or not run until the end, having indeed a difficult and potentially malicious software need help with heavy rid of it. There is a file of "BleepingComputer.com" known as rkill.exe I think the execution of this file before attempting to install / run MalwareBytes is often useful to allow a successful run MalwareBytes.

A hoax is a content with false data that you view on a web page in an email - not in the Task Manager. The better way to determine 2 sites rkill Malwarebytes and download the program, is to Google. Be aware that some antivirus software objects (wrongly) that rkill.exe least I used to disable the part of any active scan antivirus installed before you try to run either Malwarebytes or rkill.exe.
