Port output and comes with the requisite DVI to VGA connector along with an HDMI to DVI connector. There is also a large red button below the ports and this is where things get interesting. Pressing the button activates the card's Dynamic Overclocking mode (or DOC II, as MSI calls it) and it underclocks or overclocks according to the system's graphical requirements. Therefore, at idle the GPU's core clock speed goes down to 550 MHz while during gaming it can go up to 710 MHz. And there was a visible difference in performance when we hit the red button. The software bundled with the card also gives you presets to overclock or underclock the card.

In 3D Mark '06, the Dia¬mond got 11,970 marks in DOC II mode while in 3D Mark Vantage, the score was 5,746, a performance boost of around 10 percent over
the normal mode. In the Cry- . sis Flyby benchmark too, the performance difference was evident with the Diamond managing 18 frames per second at 1680xl050 with 4x Anti-Aliasing and all other settings on high, a difference of 4 fps. The N9600GT Diamond is a card that makes overclocking easy and gives performance beyond the capability of a regular 9600 GT but at its price, it is not a graphics card that we can easily recommend.
