Default Installed new graphics card but didn’t work

I have to require a 256mb graphics card to play games on my computer. I purchase a GeForce thinking it would be presently a matter of swapping cards, but I couldn't get anything when computer was turned on. I have to again install the original card.

    Thanks in advance.

To sounds you ended up with an old card. Wish you didn't spend a lot for that previous model. Can you still return it for replace or a give back?

Used a latest model made by NVidia and if you order new card then there has a BFG GeForce 7600 for a 512mb

The Power Color AG3850 512mb model would be a better card for gaming in your computer though considering GDDR3 memory

You weren’t seated down in the slot entirely when installed or perhaps a bad one from the start. While you installed the 6200 without already having been using onboard graphics that right away rules out not having the right display adapter set as default in the bios.

normally when swapping different cards you will have a display if the card is running while Windows hasn't even loaded at post time ruling out a driver conflict of any type. A blue screen right as Windows starts to load but would be the concern where you would then boot up in safe mode to remove the old drivers.
